Our Practice

HealthStream PT was established in 2020 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic as a virtual outpatient physical therapy clinic servicing California. Our business model is to deliver quality one-on-one care to patients with limited access to nearby physical therapy. Physical therapy should always be just within reach.

Jason Wong, PT, DPT, HWCC, NBC-HWC

Dr. Jason Wong’s passion in life is empowering people to live a pain-free life and cultivate change in their lives.

As a 14+ year practicing doctor of physical therapy, he has worked with everyone from the Chinese National Gymnastics team, cyclists biking down the coast of California, to your friend’s grandmother in the hospital. Through these experiences he has developed a deep knowledge of body integration through the lens of physics, a skillset to aid healing at the physical and emotional intersect, and a belief that the capacity for change in the body must align with one’s values.

In his spare time, you can find him on the sand courts playing volleyball, curiously discovering all the ways you can exercise and move your body through classes, videos, and trial and error wherever he goes, shaking his hips on a nearby dance-floor with friends, or in the kitchen cooking up a tasty (usually Asian influenced) meal at home.

Dr. Wong completed his studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison for Rehabilitation Psychology, followed by the University of Southern California for Doctor of Physical Therapy respectively.
